Alexandra was born in Romania and has made Costa Rica her home, where, together with her husband, she founded Inner Flight Retreat, a traditional Shipibo Ayahuasca retreat dedicated to healing and consciousness expansion.

 

Her path as an artist began in 2024, when after years of walking the Ayahuasca healing path as a ceremonialist in the Shipibo Amazonian tradition, Ayahuasca itself guided her to paint, a calling she never anticipated. She came to the canvas with no prior training and no expectation, only openness.

 

Alexandra sees herself as a humble student of the Divine Intelligence of Life and the mystic nature of Consciousness. Her dedication to the healing work at the Ayahuasca altar, supporting those seeking growth and healing, flows directly into her creative practice. Painting, for her, is not separate from ceremony; it is an extension of it.

 

The works she creates are not hers in any conventional sense. They are visions received from subtle realms, communications from the spirits of nature, arriving through her hands onto the canvas. Each piece carries an intention: to awaken in the viewer even a single moment of introspection into the Divine Intelligence that moves through all living things.
